@Elysse: I wonder if it’s too much to hope for in that community, since the roles are specifically divided, and they insist on her doing a woman/gatherer’s duties instead of playing games reserved for men/hunters… However, I do hear tell that many societies in the -lithic ages weren’t as specifically divided into those duties, some women hunted, and some men gathered…
yes, E, you are right, but this particular tribe is more divided. i know ONE tribe, one, in Africa where women and men role are basically equal. Woman can hunt, men can nurse without meeting troubles from their community. I will use that reference in other tribes in the story.
